The Boys & Girls Club will be providing support to students in middle school. The Club will be open Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 7:00pm for middle and high school students. Transportation will be provided from school to the Club for students that need supervision after their scheduled school day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided at no cost and limited transportation home will be available at 7:00pm.
The Club will provide academic support Monday – Friday between 9:00am and 1:30pm. The Club has increased its wifi capabilities to allow up to 200 students to be on at one time so wifi access should not be a problem. We also have 25 Chrome Books available if students need to borrow one. We are working very closely with Bob Cioppa to provide services to ELL Students as well as anyone needing additional help. We will have full time staff supported by a NSD AmeriCorps Member provided by Bob. We will be running parent workshops supported by the NSD. The only cost for middle and high school students is a $35 membership fee that can be waived if necessary. More information is provided below.

Parent Digital Literacy partnering with NSD
The Boys & Girls Club will provide six different dates in September starting Sep.11 until Sep.25 which will take place in the evening hours from 5:30PM-7pm. The Club will be assisted by NSD faculty to collaborate with sessions in helping parents navigate the X2 and their students’ virtual assignments.
The Club will provide:
· Space for these sessions, parents will register prior to the date; The Club will follow covid-19 protocol at arrival at the club and after.
· Three interpreters for different Languages will be available
· We will have Math and English teachers on hand as well as two guidance counselors.
· The Staff in the Teen Center is offering space, Wi-Fi and academic support for those students whose parents permit them to attend the Club between 9:00am and 1:30pm.
