The Nashua Board of Education voted last night to approve Dr. Andrade's recommended operating budget for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, without any increases or decreases in expenditures.

The total BOE-approved FY2025 budget stands at $131,061,021, excluding city-funded employee benefits, and is a 4.49% increase over last year's operating budget.

The Board is sending the approved budget to the Nashua Board of Aldermen for review and final approval, which is expected before school ends in June.

Meanwhile, Dr. Andrade will meet on Tuesday, May 21 with the Board of Aldermen budget committee to discuss NSD budget priorities.
