Mission Statement: Elm Street Middle School is a community of caring, respectful, life-long learners who are committed to a quality education. Our students, staff, and families are inspired to actively engage in rigorous and relevant learning.

Elm Street Middle School is one of three middle schools within the city of Nashua, New Hampshire. Home of the Eagles, it is the largest of our middle schools and serves approximately 1,100 students in Grades 6-8.

Originally built under the umbrella of Franklin Delano Roosevelt's "New Deal," our building was completed in March of 1937 and was also home to Nashua Senior High School until 1975.

The 2023-2024 school year will be the last year Elm Street Middle School houses its students because McCarthy Middle School will greet the class of 2031. We encourage you to keep up with the Middle School Project on our Nashua Public Schools site and check back for updates and events to celebrate the tradition and history of the Elm Street Middle School!
