    SPIRIT WEEK APRIL 17th-20th

     

     

    In anticipation of the Spring Carnival on Friday, April 21st, Elm Street will be having Spirit Week next week!

    Monday: Wear Fancy Clothes Tuesday: Wear Something Tropical Wednesday: Wear Wacky Clothes -  Mix Matched Day Thursday: Wear Your Favorite Sports Team Colors

    Friday: Wear Your Team’s Color for the Carnival *Ask your team advisory teacher for your team’s color*

     
     

    Update on the Spring Carnival Drive from the National Junior Honor Society

     

    We have officially started our Spring Carnival competition. In 3rd place is Team Red with 20 donated items. In 2nd place is Team Black with 36 donated items. And in 1st place SO FAR with 45 donated items is Team White! Keep the donations coming. Next collection will be Tuesday during Advisory.

     

    STAFF PARKING LOTS

     

    We kindly request that you refrain from parking in the staff parking lots in the morning as space is limited and reserved for faculty only. Please drop your students off in the front of the building. Doors open at 7:45AM.

    We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

     
     

    DRESS CODE

     

    Spring is finally here and with that comes the warmer weather. Below you will find the Elm Street Middle School Dress Code, please take time to review it with your child:

     

    Our minimum guidelines for dress code requires that students adhere to the following standards:

     

    Shirts must have straps that are 1 inch wide or greater.

     

    Shorts, skirts and dresses must be as long as the student’s fingertips with arms at their sides.

     

    Footwear must be worn at all times.

     

    Students may not wear:

     

    hats, bandanas or hoods

     

    designs on clothing or jewelry that are dangerous or advertise, promote or depict alcohol, tobacco products, illegal substances or violence or be in any way sexually suggestive, profane or explicit

     

    visible undergarments

     

    clothing that exposes the chest, abdomen or midriff

     

    any attire deemed inappropriate by administration

    LATE BUS

    The late bus runs Monday-Thursday. Students can wait in the hallway outside of the cafeteria. The bus arrives between 3:30-3:45PM.
