Student Council is excited to announce our upcoming Middle School Dance! The event is scheduled for March 21st, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the big gym. This year's theme is St. Patrick's Day.

Tickets are priced at $5 each and will go on sale starting Monday. Please note that in order to attend the dance, students must be passing their Trimester 2 classes and have not been suspended since March 3rd. SPRING CHORUS CONCERT

The EMS Chorus will be hosting their Spring Chorus Concert on Wednesday, March 13th. The performance will begin at 6:00 PM in the Keefe Auditorium and is free for all to attend. We hope to see you there!

The 6th grade chorus will be performing at the Large Group Music Festival on Saturday, March 16th at Goffstown High School. The performance starts at 12:30 PM and is free to attend. Large Group is a statewide festival where the ensemble performs for a panel of recognized adjudicators who will evaluate the performance. In addition to the performance, students will participate in a sight-reading session and clinic at the conclusion of their performance where students will have the opportunity to work with one of the adjudicators for additional feedback. Help show your support by wishing them a great performance!

NEWS FROM MR. MORRIS’ TECH ED CLASS

In this project, teams of students explore the engineering design cycle, hydraulics and combining simple machines in order to create a hydraulic arm that can lift an empty soda can up and over a small wall. I don’t provide the students with any plans or prebuilt parts – it’s each teams responsibility to research, blueprint, prototype, test, and improve their designs! This is a very challenging project that combines a lot of different skills that they’ve worked on throughout my class and I wanted to highlight their accomplishments in finishing this term strong!
