The Nashua School District redistricting consultant presented his summary of his research and findings to the Nashua Board of Education last night.

Citing very unaffordable housing, declining birth rate, declining enrollment, and increasing private school enrollment, the Nashua School District redistricting consultant is recommending the closing of schools.

Before making a final decision on redistricting or on closing schools, the Nashua Board of Education is reviewing not only recommendations from the consultant, but also recommendations from administrators and from several redistricting committees, and points of view from members of school communities through community forums and redistricting feedback forms.
