With much fanfare that included students, parents, and staff, the Fairgrounds Middle School re-dedication launched another chapter in the 50-year history of the school. Sharon Coffey, FMS Principal, hosted the event that included leaders from the City of Nashua, Harriman architectural firm, and Harvey Construction.
Dr. McKinney joined with Sharon Giglio, Nashua Board of Education, and Sharon Coffey to officially re-open the school by accepting a symbolic key from Harriman and Harvey Construction. The FMS Lobby Band and the FMS Chorus punctuated the celebration with music. In its 50 years, Fairgrounds Middle School has long served its students and families, and is the first phase of a $118 million project that includes ongoing expansion/renovations at Pennichuck Middle School, and the building of a new middle school at Buckmeadow Road. Congratulations to Fairgrounds Middle School!
