Congratulations to Annika Garimella, a sixth grader at Fairgrounds Middle School, for placing fourth overall in the state at the 68th Union Leader NH State Spelling Bee, held in Concord in mid-March.

After several weeks of daily practice, learning new words to spell, Annika succeeded in multiple preliminary qualifying rounds at Fairgrounds Middle School and six rounds at the statewide spelling bee to place.
