Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year

Dear Nashua School District Families,

It is with great excitement and optimism that I welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. Together, we are creating meaningful opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and thrive.

This year marks another important step in bringing our 2025-2030 Nashua Strategic Plan to life. At the heart of this work is our shared vision:

"The Nashua School District is a community where curiosity drives education and every learner is valued."

This vision reflects who we aspire to be as a school community. We believe that when students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, explore new ideas, and discover their passions, they develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in an ever-changing world. Equally important, every student deserves to feel seen, respected, supported, and valued for who they are.

Our strategic plan serves as the roadmap for this work and is centered on creating outstanding learning experiences while strengthening the connections among our schools, families, and community. Throughout the coming year, we will continue to focus on several key priorities:

Strengthening Teaching and Learning: We will continue to enhance Tier 1 curriculum, instruction, and assessment by providing engaging, evidence-based learning experiences that challenge and support every student.

Building a Culture of Belonging: Every student should feel safe, respected, and connected. We remain committed to fostering welcoming learning environments where all students experience a strong sense of belonging and have access to the supports they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Expanding Personalized Learning and Student Supports: We will continue to strengthen services for all learners, including multilingual learners, students with disabilities, and those requiring additional academic or social-emotional support, ensuring that every learner has equitable opportunities to reach their full potential.

Preparing Students for Their Future: We are expanding real-world learning opportunities through career exploration, internships, dual enrollment, career and technical education, and innovative learning experiences that help students connect their education to future college, career, and life pathways.

Strengthening Partnerships with Families and the Community: Student success is built on strong relationships. We will continue creating meaningful opportunities for families, community organizations, businesses, and higher education partners to collaborate with our schools in support of our students.

As we begin this new school year, I am inspired by the dedication of our educators, staff, families, and community partners. Together, we will continue to cultivate curiosity, celebrate achievement, embrace innovation, and ensure that every learner is valued and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Thank you for entrusting the Nashua School District with your child's education. I look forward to another year of learning, growth, and success for every student.
