Nashua School District Open Enrollment

Please note that this replaces the existing process of school variance requests for transfers within the district, in accordance with NH law.

Students are assigned to schools based on their home address of record. A parent or guardian may request that their child attend a different school in the district by completing the form linked below. Transportation is not provided to/from the requested school. Siblings are not guaranteed spots in the same school.

Requests will be accepted between February 16, 2026 and July 1, 2026. The Superintendent will consider requests that are received by July 1st, so long as the requested school has the ability to accommodate the student based on teacher-to-student ratio and existing school capacity. Requests will be processed in the order they are received. Parents/guardians will be notified regarding requested school placement no later than August 1, 2026 and will be asked to confirm acceptance of the placement within two weeks. The accepted placement will be for the 2026-2027 school year.
