Assistant Principal Dennis Hamilton
My name is Dennis Hamilton, and I began working in Nashua the year after the North High School opened. I was a coach at UNH for eight seasons, and was the first swim coach at NHS North. I developed my leadership skills through coaching, and then teaching at-risk students. I became a summer school teacher and took on administrative duties in the afternoon and found that people were very responsive to my approach and attitude when working with students and staff. Then, I started a program and began working as a coordinator for Adult Education. I have been encouraged and lucky to go through the process and show that I do have the ability to lead at a broader level. I’d like to use my leadership skills and the benefits that I’ve gained and grown through coaching, and apply it to a much larger audience at a much more established place.
