Scheduling a Show is easy, here's how:
I regret to inform
you that all elementary school planetarium shows have been cancelled
for this year. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Elementary / Middle School

inquire about available show dates. I'll be more than happy to
answer any questions. The two most popular shows for
elementary students are What's Up There? and The Earth, Moon & Sun
with the latter being suggested for 5th grade classes.
How to get here:
The district will provide a FREE shuttle bus for the planetarium.
It will pick up your students at 10:40 from your respective schools
and will leave the South High School at noon for the return trip.
Please contact

(rauseod@nashua.edu) at least one week prior to your trip
to make the travel arrangements. You will also need to submit a
fieldtrip request form to your building principal. On the bottom of
the form where you are asked to provide information about
transportation, write the following statement: “Planetarium Shuttle
Bus-District.”
Make sure the bus drops you off at the entrance by the Main Office.
It's on the side of the school facing the highway with a long, wide
walkway to glass doors. It is not the entrance with the
imposing, tall, curved doors - that's the one by the gym.
If you
plan to bring more than 40 students at one time, we will split
the group in two. Half the students will view a show in the
planetarium while the other half participates in an activity in
the media center. Afterwards, the two groups will swap places.
The media center has private rooms, AV equipment and learning
resources ready for your students. I know this is a lot of
information. Again, please contact me if you have any
questions.

happy to answer any questions. Shows will run blocks 2 and
3. Students can find the necessary transportation on the
North-South shuttle. Please contact the administration at
your school to let them know you plan to take advantage of this
service. I'm not sure how full the shuttles will be this
spring.

happy to answer any questions. Shows will run blocks 2 and
3. Take attendance in your room and hold your students
there for about 10 minutes. I'll need this time to set up
the show. Then escort your students down to the
planetarium and enjoy the show. Don't have the students
take their backpacks. I'll return them to class before the
end of the block.
