Explore the transportation industry, automotive industry, and specific automotive systems. You will study electrical cooling, lubrication, driveline, suspension, and steering. Learn the business techniques of the industry including management of repair orders, billing, parts and labor tracking , and the importance of good work habits. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra and 9th or 10th grade science, and NTC Director’s office approval of your application

Full Year Course

Participate in this work-study program consisting of instructional time spent in the Automotive Lab and work time in area automotive service centers. Automotive Service Technology 2 is to prepare the student for further studies at the post-secondary technical schools or entry-level work. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Automotive Technology 1. Note: Enrollment requires approval of NTC Directors office and instructor. Students must provide their own transportation.
