Mythical Creatures - Unicorns

       Unicorns had different meanings for different people. Chinese stories said the unicorn helped form the Chinese alphabet by showing the letters on its back. To them, they had a silver horn and scales like a dragon. European myths say the unicorn was a symbol of Christ or a new beginning. Men killed unicorns mostly for their horns. The unicorns trusted young women and sometimes rest their heads on the girl’s lap and fall asleep.
