Spain is a large country with a long history.
Dr. Novak and I will only be traveling to a small part of Spain along
the southern Mediterranean coast. On our Virtual Fieldtrip, we
will concentrating on the history of the important year of 1492 and what

After leaving Girona, we will be driving to Costa
Blanca. From Costa Blanca, we will be driving to
Jerez de la Frontera. One of the important reasons we are visiting
Jerez is the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. Click on
the hyperlink to the left and you will see WHY we are going there.

| After leaving the coast of Spain, we are going to Granada. There are many reasons for us to visit Granada. The web pages on Christopher Columbus and Queen Isabella with give you some clues. In 1492, Granada was most likely the most important city in ALL of Spain. I am sure that you can figure this out. | |
