The food we eat is tightly linked with history and culture.

Today things are changing rapidly with
even more 'globalization'. You can eat pizza (from Italy
originally) in every country around the globe. American fast food
chains such as McDonalds can be found
around the world. Paris is famous for fine food but a McDonalds restaurant
was next to our hotel!
