| Dr. Novak and I have never been to Budapest
or Hungary before. Click here to see Map
of Hungary. We will be staying in the Castle District in Buda
at the Hilton
Budapest. This area is an UNESCO World Heritage
site. Do you know what this means? I didn't know until I made my first trip to Australia in 1992 and visited the Great Barrier Reef (World Heritage site). Since then, I have made a point to visit other UNESCO World Heritage sites. To learn more about UNESCO, go to Learning Log UNESCO. This Learning Log will help you suggest other places that Mrs. Novak should visit on her travels. There is much to do and see in Budapest. I have started to read books and websites about Budapest. Go to Learning Log Budapest to learn more about Budapest. Try to come up with some exciting places for Dr. Novak and I to visit. DON'T forget to take a look at our biographies to find out our interests. One thing that I MUST see is the Crown of Hungary. Learn more by going to Learning Log Crown of Hungary. Sunday night, Dr. Novak and I will be taking a night train from Budapest to Munich, Germany. At one time, this was part of the famous original Orient Express. I have never taken a night train before. What do you think? Will Dr. Novak and I be able to sleep on this train??? To continue on this adventure click here on Virtual Tour Germany. |
