Wheels and Axles 2/6/2007 01:35:41 PM

We are going to share with you our exciting machine called wheels and axles. There is a wheel with a bar in the middle called the axle that helps the wheel spin. The wheel spins around and around on an axle to make work easier and faster. Some examples of our simple machines are a wheelbarrow, ferris wheel, egg beater, wagon wheels, rolling pin, wheels on a rolling chair, faucet handles, door knobs, gears on a can opener, wind mill, steering wheel, and wheels on a car, a bike, a skateboard, and rollerblades. Every one uses a wheel and an axle in different ways. Email us if you have any questions.
