| New Flash!!!! On May 6th, 2006 Governor John Lynch signed the Pumpkin Bill into law. Third and Fourth graders from the Wells Memorial School in Harrisville lobbied the House and Senate to have the pumpkin recognized. The pumpkin is now the official state fruit. | |
