During April spring vacation 2003, I traveled with my
sister to visit our 87 year old aunt on Taos, New Mexico. When I
travel, I love to look up the history of the area. THIS is how I
got fascinated by Francisco Vasquez de Coronado. |
I started my research on Coronado
by finding out MANY facts. As I did more and more
research, I realized that the FACTS I was finding didn't always
agree. I would read one book or a website on the Internet and take
notes. I would go to the next resource and find different
information. What information should I trust and WHAT are the real
facts?
This activity is divided into three
parts. The first part, is doing research using the Resources
page. The second part, is the travelogue that I will be adding to as
I follow Coronado's trail in New Mexico. The third part, is doing
