Secrets of the Wild Panda   (53:00)

    Description:
An intriguing and curious-looking black and white face peers out from the shadows of a dark den. It's a giant panda, the most popular of zoo animals. But this panda is free and wild. A closer look reveals an incredible sight: a tiny panda cub, only inches long and less than seven weeks old. Panda young, fragile in captivity, seem to thrive in the wild. To find out why and how, a Chinese naturalist and his assistant spent several years in a remote bamboo forest in China observing a mother and her cub. Get the first glimpse of a newborn wild panda and follow the pair on a fascinating journey into the world of these highly endangered creatures, revealing observations and insights that could help to save them.
