Mrs. Novak feels very strong about
Internet safety. You should never give out any personal
information on the Internet including your name! Take a look
at FBI Kids K-5th
Grade - About the FBI - Safety Tips - Internet Safety BUT I do want you to write my on my blog and sign it with a special name. SO, you are going to click on Get a Chinese Name In the box Given Name, write your first name. In the box Family name, type your last name. Under Desire Essence of the Name, click on the drop down arrow and decide if you want to be wealthy or beautiful or any of the other choices. For your gender select Male - Boy or Female - Girl. By clicking on the drop down arrows input your birthday month. Type in the day and year in the other two boxes. Finally, click on Get a Name. Once you get your Chinese Name, raise your hand and the teacher will help you print it out. Make sure that you keep this piece of papers because you will need your name to blog to Mrs. Novak. IF you click on your hyperlinked name, you will hear it pronounced in Chinese. This take a long time and you must be patient. Maybe, just maybe your art teacher will have a surprise for you using your Chinese name. It will be GREAT fun when I return home to find out who is who. Don't forget to tell me when we have class together in November. |
