Teams are formed around October and competitions are held starting in March. Destination Imagination is a team challenge where students are involved in creative problem solving strategies. The team selects a long-term problem and over the course of many months produces a team solution to that problem. In March the team presents their solution at a Regional Competition, hoping to advance to the State Finals and eventually the World Finals. It's Fun, challenging, team work; It's NHOM. |

| The purpose of the Citizens of the World club (COW) is to provide the Nashua High School community the opportunity to share our various languages and cultures by facilitating the meeting of new people, interacting with them and learning to accept and respect each other. Through participation in community service and the demonstration of culturally symbolic activities, we are also committed to extending cultural education beyond the school setting, by allowing people of diverse backgrounds to demonstrate their talents and to form connections with other nationalities. We sponsor “The Festival of Cultures” each spring, an event when foods donated by ethnic restaurants in Nashua are tasted, and singers, musicians and dancers perform. We have purchased the flags that are hanging in our atriums and have contributed funds to expand the world language and multicultural resources in our media center. For more information please contact Mrs. Carmen Barraford barrafordc@nashua.edu or Mr. Norman Ducas ducasn@nashua.edu | |

Latin club is open to any student who wants to learn more about the ancient Romans and their language. Our activities give students a chance to broaden their knowledge of Latin and the culture of Rome. Be prepared to play games, watch movies, actively engage in discussions, cook like a Roman, learn about the constellations and their myths, design and build temples or siege equipment and propose your own ideas. Our goal is to provide students with a friendly, relaxed time to share their knowledge of ancient Rome with other students and also to add to that knowledge. Advisor – Mrs. Cupak |

The Equity Club was started by students who felt that there existed at Nashua High a need to address issues of gender and gender equality. The group attempts to discuss not only issues of gender bias but to take an active role in improving gender awareness by bringing in outside speakers, viewing films, and providing possible referrals on related issues. The group has also taken an active part in easing the plight of disadvantaged women by providing financial support to local shelters and clothing to homeless women. Both female and male students are invited to join. Mrs. Provencher has more information about this organization. |
