Career Center

Career Guidance

The Career Resource Center was set up at Nashua High School to bring together information on career awareness and college resources to facilitate the transition students make from high school to further educational facilities or to the workplace. The resources in the Center are available for all students to assist them as they plan for the future.

The major goals of the Career Center include:

  • To provide students with information on self-assessment so they can identify their skills, interests, and abilities.
  • To educate students, parents, and staff about the career development process.
  • To publicize the career development resources available in the Center.
  • To teach students how to access information from several databases to identify the occupational areas that may be of interest.
  • To assist students to get involved in workplace learning activities.
  • To assist students to realize their career goals, identify their academic strengths and weaknesses and develop career plans for their immediate and future choices after high school.
