NHS North's ESL Program

One of the strengths of NHS North is its diversity.  Some of our students speak English as a Second Language (ESL) and our school has developed special programs and services to help these students and their families receive  the best education we can deliver.

Robert Cioppa is the lead teacher at NHS North.  He can be reached at 603-589-8282 or at cioppar@nashua.edu   Mr. Cioppa and other teachers in this department work with students who speak a number of languages.  In addition to working with students directly, they meet frequently with parents who may have questions about educational services available in the United States.

Nashua High School North also has been part of a state-wide program designed to reach out to ESL students to insure they have access to college.  A program brings students to a local college each fall to learn about the college application process, financial aid and other important issues.  A parent outreach program also takes place to answer parents' questions about these topics.  For more information about this, please contact Mr. Cioppa at the address/phone number listed above

Our ESL students are valued members of our NHS North community.  If we can be of any help, please stop in Student Services in the main office and let us know what we can do to assist you.

Go Titans!
