We are committed to providing an environment that will support the language needs of all Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.  Teaching strategies will promote dual language development using both ASL and English. Our program gives students early language exposure and immersion starting with preschool. Our staff is dedicated to providing each student with the skills to embrace diversity in the Deaf and Hearing communities as well as our diversified community at large. We will provide academically challenging experiences that will support and develop positive self-esteem, social skills, community involvement, cultural, family, and linguistic heritage as well as cognitive, and physical abilities.

Family involvement is encouraged and welcomed in the classroom. We acknowledge that families know their children best and that their involvement will better their child’s education and self-image about their academic and personal growth. Therefore there will be many opportunities provided within the classroom for families to be active participants at any level. With families, community and staff working as a team we can ensure the best education for all Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in the Nashua School District.
