DNA semiconservative replication model

Materials - Sheets of DNA rails of first color, enough to make a DNA model with 22 bases.  Sheets of DNA of second color for new rails; scotch tape, shapes to represent, helicase,  DNA polymerase,  DNA ligase, RNA primer in short strips,

• sides must be anti parallel... see notes below for filling in base sequence
• 3' end must start with TATATAC  on parent DNA( this will include bases needed for translation in future)      Do not include a STOP codon in your DNA sequence on the master strand that has the TATATAC at the 3' end.
• your model must include, two new rails of DNA, DNA ligase, DNA polymerase, helicase, Okazaki fragments, RNA primers
• your model must have some parts that can be moved around as you talk through the process.
