Students who suffer from concussions are an added concern, and the Nashua School District wants to be sure to work with each student about returning to the classroom to support his or her full recovery.
In response to our concern, the school district has developed a return to learn
Concussions are invisible injuries that impact students typical thinking, learning and behavior. In general:
- after a diagnosed concussion, students should be on complete physical and cognitive rest for 24 to 48 hours,
- electronic use of cell phones, tables, computers and televisions should be eliminated.
