On-line workshop reservation system: (see Work Shop Instruction Sheet)

When you use the On-line workshop reservation system, you will eventually navigate to a particular workshop in which you are interested. On that page you will find a button like this:  or this: . When you click on this button, you will be going to a place on the web which is restricted to Nashua School District network users only (this is what is meant by intranet or , if you are on your computer at home, extranet), and you will have to log in using your network domain\username and password. There are some conditions that must be met before you will be able to log in: (1) You must use the Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) version 5.0 or higher browser. Neither the Netscape nor the AOL browser supports authentication on a Windows NT network (which we have); (2) The browser must not be working through a proxy server (it usually does not); and, (3) you must specify the domain along with your username (for example "world\bagleym" - all NAN users are members of the domain "world").

Important: If you use this on-line sign-up procedure from a public computer (library or lab for example), be sure to close all instances of the browser after you have finished. The browser "remembers" that you have logged on to the network, and if you don't close it out the next person who tries to use it will still be logged on as you! Logging in through the browser is separate from logging on to the network when you first turn on a computer, and works the same from any computer anywhere in the world, whether or not it is logged on to our network or any other network or no network at all. An Internet connection is all that is required.

Note: The first time you log in (unless you are one of the secondary teachers who has used this system for grades or progress reports) you will be asked to provide your last name, first name, and middle initial as they appear on your district paycheck. This will allow the system to make a connection between your NAN username and your record in the district's staff database which contains information about your certificates and endorsements and Professional Development credits.

Trouble? If you have trouble logging in, send an email to the WEB administrator with as many details as you can provide. Please enter "Log-In Trouble" in the subject line.

If you don't have a district network username and password, it's time to get one. Watch this page and sign up for the IPC workshop when it next becomes available. The paper sign-up procedure will still be available for some time to come, but those who can sign up online will be able to see their status with respect to any registration immediately, and will be able to access the many other resources that will become available via NANweb in the near future.
