Grading Guideline

 

Any of the following methods and tools of assessment will be utilized to assess your child's progress and provide documentation for their grading.

-Teacher Observation     -Project/Enrichment     
-Test & Quizzes     -Written & Oral Reports     
-Public Speaking/Dramatic Arts     -Portfolios -Hands-On Activities     -Working In Groups


Consistently produces work of high quality, shows initiative and interest in learning, extends learned skills, and frequently demonstrates critical and creative thinking.


Frequently produces work of high quality, shows initiative and interest in learning, applies learned skills, and occasionally demonstrates critical and creative thinking skills.


Produces work of satisfactory quality, shows a moderate level of initiative and interest in learning, applies learned skills with support and shows some evidence of critical and creative thinking skills.


Produces work of consistent quality with frequent reteaching, shows little initiative and interest in learning, work is usually late, incomplete, or inaccurate, and show little evidence of critical creative thinking skills.


Seldom produce work of satisfactory quality, work is consistently late, incomplete, and inaccurate, and student makes little or no effort.
