The Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is located on 8 Prospect Street. The hospital is a tan brick building with seven floors. It looks as if there is at least one window in every patient room. There is a large green sign on the front lawn that tells you where the main entrance is located. To get in the front entrance, you have to go through a set of revolving doors.
There is plenty of parking at the hospital. On Prospect Street there is a large parking garage. Almost every side of the building has a parking lot.
The Southern New England Medical Center was built in 1892. When it first opened, it was called Memorial Hospital.
