The ALT is fortunate to have the support and commitment of our Community Partners.  It is these kinds of relationships that make it possible for us to thrive as a program, and we are appreciative  of the generosity of others who have given to us.

However, it is equally as important for our students to have the opportunity to give back to the community.  In a community service project lead by Rick Lydon and Barbara Reilly , students came up with the idea to raise money for Katrina Hurricane Victims.

Students designed and made their own jewelry in class to be sold for the benefit of the Katrina Hurricane Victims.   All proceeds of the sale were then donated to the American Red Cross.

It is a great feeling for our students to give back to the community in such a positive way.

Karen Dudley on behalf of the American Red Cross accepts a check in the amount of $263.00 from the ALT.
