Education:

Patti Place is the Principal of the Academy of Learning and Technology and has over 20 years in the human service field. She is a certified principal and guidance counselor. Patti received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1984, her Masters in Education from Rivier College in 1997, and her Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies from Rivier College in 2003.  

Experience:

Over 3 years as a Health Extensionist for the US Peace Corps in Education, South America

Over 8 years with State of New Hampshire as:

      Senior Probation/ Parole officer with NH Department of Corrections

      Social Worker with the Division of Children Youth & Families

Over 9 years with Nashua School Department as:

      Guidance Counselor at Elm Street Middle School

      Principal of the Academy of Learning and Technology

Hobbies and interest:

Patti is an avid reader who enjoys spending time with her two children Jenna (9 years old) and Steven (17 years old).

Philosophy of Education:

I believe all students can succeed.  It is our obligation as public educators to provide both traditional and non-traditional learning environments to enhance academic achievement for all students.  I am fortunate to be living my dream in my position as ALT's principal.  I love my job. move
