Marsha Peterson is the School Nurse at the Academy of Learning and Technology. Marsha Received her B.A. Degree in Psychology from the University of Hartford in 1975 and her R.N. from Rivier College in 1999.

Experience:

Over the summers Marsha works as a Camp Nurse at an all boys residential camp on Lake Winnipesaukee.

When not at school or camp, Marsha enjoys spending time with her husband Eric, and her children Randy, a student at University of Colorado in Boulder and Stacy, a student at Elm St.

Hobbies and interest:

Reading, sewing, cooking and sitting by the fire in a ski lodge while her family is on the slopes.

Philosophy of Education:

It is not just enough to wipe away the tears of a sick or hurt child, or simply put a band aid on their problem.  We must also really listen to what their needs are both physically and emotionally.  Ultimately we want to educate our students to make rational decisions that will affect their present and future physical, social and emotional wellbeing.   We must be assured that our children are not only safe, but that they also feel safe.

I am very proud to be a member of the ALT family and to be able to make a difference in our student’s lives.
