Welcome to Phoenix
Baseball & Softball
Coaching Philosophy:
Our coaching philosophy
will concentrate on teaching this team to work as an inter-dependent unit.
The mechanics of baseball are minimized in favor of team building and
getting players into situations where they can succeed. Our initial practice
sessions are focused on evaluation and assessing where a player’s ability
will best serve the team, and help the individual feel comfortable and
confident. Our goal is to win games but not at the expense of any individual
not enjoying this experience.
Code of
Conduct
Beyond the standard
NHIAA Sportsmanship Code we expect players to follow our Team Rules and
respect their teammates, coaches, officials, and opposing players. There is
a no tolerance rule for any form of unacceptable behavior on this team.
Unacceptable behavior means any abusive, rude, or disrespectful actions
towards a teammate, umpire or opposing team. Any infraction of this rule
could result in dismissal from the team. This policy not only ensures that
our players are not subject to unacceptable behavior but also helps to
ensure that their baseball experience on is positive and one the they will
fondly remember as the grow into responsible adults.

-
No horseplay or
rude behavior will be tolerated on the bench or on the field.
If a player plans to be absent from a practice or game that player owns
the responsibility to contact the team Manager We all work together. No
one ever degrades a teammate for any reason at any time on or off the
field
-
No negative
cheering or remarks directed towards the opposing team or umpires.
Our rules are meant to
ensure everyone enjoys their time playing the game and working together
towards a common goal. We all perform at 100% of our capability and work to
ensure every teammate succeeds. That is the secret to winning and enjoying
the success of your hard work. We are as strong as our weakest link!
