 Read Your Way to the Mall

We are committed to making our students better readers.  Literacy is a major focus for us at the Academy of Learning & Technology (ALT). 

 

Students are getting  high-quality reading instruction, access to the most current reading technologies like READ 180, and incentives to motivate them to read more.  As a result we have seen tremendous improvements in our students reading abilities.   

 

One incentive program the ALT supports is "Reading Your way to the Mall".  Students' that achieve 90% or greater on their language arts requirements will be invited to the Pheasant Lane Mall for a day of holiday shopping.  Each student will receive a $20 gift card.

 

This year we have forty students who have read their way to the mall.
