Phyllis Colburn (Mathematics Teacher)

Education:

Phyllis recently completed graduate studies from Rivier College.  She received her Master's of Education with a concentration in Curriculum & Instruction.  She received her B.A. in Education from Rivier College in 1985.

Experience:

Phyllis has 13 years experience working with at risk, court involved or disabled youth ages 7-17 within private school settings in New Hampshire and Florida.  She possesses an Experienced Educator’s certification in New Hampshire and in Florida as well.  In addition, she has spent 8 years working within the human service system here in New Hampshire for developmentally disabled adults.

Hobbies and interest:

Basketball

Philosophy of Education:

Learning is a cooperative endeavor.  As children acquire new skills and abilities, I too grow as an educator.

I am passionate about education and about helping your children grow into life-long learners and It is an honor and privilege for me to work with you and your child this year.
