Nashua, NH is an industrial/residential city with a diverse population of approximately 86,000, located immediately north of the Massachusetts border, along the Merrimack River. Nashua’s approximate average household income: $61,102.
In September 2004 Nashua Senior High School was split into two schools. The original Nashua Senior High was completely renovated and is now Nashua High School South. |

CURRICULUM |
Nashua High School South offers students an opportunity to discover their interests and aptitudes in a challenging academic setting. Students are required to master specific core courses and are encouraged to elect additional course work from a wide variety of curriculum areas in order to complete a program of studies considered essential to a well-rounded high school education. An extensive college preparatory program is offered which includes numerous honors courses as well as 18 AP courses. The AP courses that are offered include: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, English Language, English Literature, Calculus, Statistics, American History, European History, American Government, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, Spanish, Computers, Art History and Studio Art. Nashua High School South is a comprehensive public high school which also serves as a regional vocational high school offering many two-year Career and Technology Education (CTE) Programs. The Career and Technology Programs include, but are not limited to: Automotive Technology, Biotechnology, CADD, Cosmetology, Construction Technology, Culinary Arts, Electrical Trades Technology, Graphic Arts, HVAC, Telecommunications, and Multimedia Production . There are many certification programs available, as well as courses which enable students to receive dual high school/college credit. |
