WELCOME TO THE NHSN SCHOLARSHIP PAGE!

What is a scholarship?    A scholarship is money awarded to a student by a company, business, organization, institution, individual, etc. and is typically based on academic merit, but can be based financial need or other criteria.

What is the difference between a national and local scholarship?  National scholarship information can be found in published scholarship books, through internet searches and other sources.  They are available to students across the country and anyone who is eligible can apply for a national scholarship.

Local scholarships are available only to students in the Nashua School District (some to North students, some to South students and some to both). A list of local scholarships is available on this site (see LINK BELOW).  The list is continually subject to change and cannot be guaranteed each year.  Please use it as a guideline for planning.  Scholarship applications can be found, when they become available, in Guidance suite D301 for NHSN students.   Most local scholarship applications do not become available until after January of the senior year, however you may check the scholarship cabinet at any time.  Announcements are made over the loud speaker when a scholarship application is available and the information is posted on the school website announcements.
